Features: On a distant continent, the human and demon races had established a fragile balance after a great war years ago, living in peace for a time. Now, this fragile balance has been shattered by the ambitious demon emperor. Over a million demon soldiers have crossed the border, besieging Valen Fortress while launching a surprise attack directly at the imperial capital guarded by the Zichuan family. The human forces have been retreating at every turn at the start of the war, and the fate of the human race on this continent hangs by a thread. The three young generals of the Zichuan family—Sterling, Dilin, and Zichuan Xiu—begin to lead counterattacks, but the demons have a clear advantage in numbers. Can the human race once again, like the great war years ago, unite with the Zichuan, Liufeng, and Lin families to drive back the demon coalition?
The handsome Zichuan Xiu, the youngest general of the Zichuan family, who falls fast asleep during the decisive battle between the two armies, makes a fortune along the front lines during the march, and often causes chaos during parliamentary meetings. Can he bear the weight of leading his people to drive back the demons and restore the empire's former glory?
The love, hate, affection, and enmity between the three great generals of the Zichuan, Liufeng, and Lin families and the demons—Sterling's secret love affair with the demon princess Kadan, Zichuan Xiu's love-hate relationship with his childhood rival, Fengshuang, the beautiful commander of the Liufeng family, who is infatuated with Zichuan Xiu, the Lin family heir's frenzied pursuit and assassination of Liufeng, and how Dilin, as the enforcer, balances his loyalty and righteousness toward his two brothers in this chaotic era—will all rise and fall, stirring the heart.
Will the love stories ultimately come to fruition? Can loyalty and righteousness be fulfilled? These questions must be settled in this century-long great battle between humans and demons.
