Patient's question:
How can I have a male baby? Do I need to go to the hospital for treatment? How long will it take for the treatment to improve? Please help me!Doctor's answer:
Gender is determined by sex chromosomes in germ cells. Whether it is pregnant with a boy or a girl is unrelated to the time of pregnancy. Half of the sperm's chromosomes are (22+X), and the other half are (22+Y). The egg's chromosomes have only one type, which is (22+X). The X and Y in the chromosomes are the chromosomes that determine gender, so they are called sex chromosomes. When sperm and egg combine (during fertilization), if the sperm with (22+X) chromosomes combines with the egg, the two combine to form (44+XX) and develop into a female fetus. If the sperm with (22+Y) chromosomes combines with the egg, the two combine to form (44+XY) and develop into a male fetus.
