Features: Regular script, also known as "Zhenshu" or "Zhengshu." Its origins date back to an uncertain time, with various theories. However, through research, it is undeniable that regular script is a universal style of calligraphy that emerged after clerical script, evolving from bamboo slips and stone inscriptions of the Qin and Han dynasties. It has a history of nearly a thousand years. After a long period of development during the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, it was finally standardized by the early Sui Dynasty (e.g., the Longzangsi Stele carved in the sixth year of the Kaigang era of the Sui Dynasty is a representative work of mature regular script). It reached its peak during the Tang Dynasty. Throughout its evolution, numerous outstanding calligraphers emerged, such as Zhong Yao, Wang Xizhi, Ouyang Xun, Chu Suiliang, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, Su Shi, and Zhao Meng, leaving behind immortal masterpieces like the Xuanshi Table, Huangdian Jing, Jiu Cheng Gong Quanquan Ming, Yanta Shengjiao Xu, and Yanjia Temple Stele. To meet the wishes of hard-tip calligraphy enthusiasts, following the Shufa Yun Tui series, we have now launched two new series: the Hard-Tip Calligraphy Yun Tui Popular Edition and the Hard-Tip Calligraphy Yun Tui Advanced Edition. These series provide detailed explanations on stroke order, structure, brushwork, layout, and other aspects to help readers improve their hard-tip calligraphy skills and achieve a perfect balance between artistic appreciation and practicality. The calligraphers who contributed to this series are all influential contemporary hard-tip calligraphers, writing in various scripts such as Seal, Clerical, Wei, Regular, Running, and Cursive. This series not only greatly benefits hard-tip calligraphy enthusiasts in their practice and skill improvement but also allows readers to explore the representative styles and schools of contemporary Chinese hard-tip calligraphy, offering both creative guidance and works for appreciation.
