Features: The Public Security Ministry's Party Committee decided to designate 2006 as the "Year of Strengthening Grassroots and Basic Work" for public security organs nationwide. Grassroots and basic work should be prioritized for three years, requiring all public security organs to focus on grassroots stations such as police stations, detention centers, vehicle management offices, criminal investigation teams, traffic police teams, and patrol teams, adhering to the strategic deployment of strengthening grassroots, laying a solid foundation, and honing essential skills. Without a doubt, this is a significant and pragmatic measure for public security work.
