Features: The Color Matching Handbook is an indispensable professional tool for art designers and printing and publishing workers. It serves as a reference for checking and correcting the scale and standards of design drafts and printed products. The handbook is divided into two volumes: Color Matching Handbook – Color Chart and Examples, and Color Matching Handbook – Peel-off Color Swatches.
The Color Matching Handbook – Color Chart and Examples is divided into two parts. The first part is the multi-color dot overlay charts, which are based on the four-color process printing (Yellow Y, Magenta M, Cyan C, Black BL) and combine different percentages of dots in a coordinate form to create nearly 6,000 standard color blocks. The second part is the color matching examples. It includes images printed with various standard colors, examples of color gradation, a wealth of gradient color combinations, examples of adjacent color block arrangements, and applications of gold, silver, and other colors with their effects.
The Color Matching Handbook – Peel-off Color Swatches is printed in color according to hue combinations and includes 560 color swatches. These swatches have stitching lines, making them easy to tear off. Whether you want to predict the effects of certain color combinations, you can easily do so. Moreover, each color swatch is labeled with the percentage concentrations of the four printing inks (Y, M, C, BL). Simply tear off a swatch and stick it to the design draft to accurately determine the color of the draft.
