Features: To promote the popularization and application of scientific and technological achievements, quickly transform environmental technological achievements into practical capabilities for pollution prevention, improve the efficiency of environmental protection investment, and promote the coordinated development of the environment and economy, the State Environmental Protection Administration began in 1991 and issued the 12th Decree of the State Environmental Protection Administration, "Measures for the Administration of National Key Environmental Protection Practical Technology Extension," in November 1993. Local environmental protection administrative departments should seriously implement the "Measures for the Administration of National Key Environmental Protection Practical Technology Extension," and encourage the priority use of national key environmental protection practical technologies and demonstration projects in environmental management. To enable national key environmental protection practical technologies to directly reach users and communicate relevant information, we have compiled and published the "Compendium of National Key Environmental Protection Practical Technology and Demonstration Projects (2005)." This compendium briefly introduces the scope of application, basic principles, process flow, technical indicators, benefit analysis, and technical services of each technology and demonstration project. The "compendium" was compiled and completed based on the technical documents submitted by the supporting units of each technology after necessary review and editing.
