Features: Today, digital design technology is widely applied in fields such as publishing, printing, advertising, and packaging, and an increasing number of people use computers for design. However, a common issue encountered in computer design is the inconsistency between colors set on the monitor and the final printed product. The essence of this problem lies in the fact that monitors display colors through light, while printed materials use color pigments, and their color mixing principles are fundamentally different. To address this issue, it is essential for designers to use standard color charts as references for computer color setting. This color chart was specifically designed for this purpose.
This color chart is fully computer-designed and produced, using standard printing inks and printed on gloss art paper. In terms of color sample selection, the sampling interval for color mixtures of the three primary colors is set at 10%, resulting in a large number of selected samples based on the probability of color usage. Additionally, to accommodate the growing trend of using gold and silver in graphic and packaging design, the chart includes numerous color samples mixed with gold and silver inks and primary colors, enhancing its reference value.
During the printing process of the color chart, the latest CTP (Computer-to-Plate) technology is adopted to minimize dot gain errors, and various inspection instruments are used to control the printing process, ensuring high accuracy in the colors of the chart. This color chart can be used in fields such as publishing design, printing plate separation, packaging design, advertising design, decoration design, and dyeing and printing design. It can also serve as a reference for color research and teaching purposes.
