Features: Long, long ago, in a deep mountain, there lived a strong and kind boy named Goku. One day, he met Bulma, who was wandering in search of the Dragon Balls. The Dragon Balls are magical pearls. If all seven are gathered, the Dragon will appear and grant a wish. With the help of the Dragon Radar, the two embarked on a journey to find the balls. During their travels, they encountered all sorts of strange people and events. Meanwhile, the Dragon left only a pair of shorts before flying away again—details can be found in the first two volumes. After bidding farewell to their companions, Goku went alone to the highly skilled Master Roshi to become his apprentice.
