Features: Since 1984, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons has been compiling advances in orthopaedics, and since 1994, it has been compiling advances in various orthopaedic specialties, aiming to provide a practical and comprehensive summary of new knowledge in orthopaedics for beginners to study in a concentrated manner. Based on this purpose, the Publishing Committee of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Musculoskeletal Tumor Group compiled this book as a supplement to the Orthopaedic Advances series. This book is a reference for the diagnosis and treatment of bone and soft tissue tumors, primarily providing a broader surgical foundation and orthopaedic surgical principles for practicing physicians with a certain professional foundation. Residents and graduate students can also benefit from the professional knowledge presented in this book. The content of the book is concise and highly targeted. Like the other volumes in the "Orthopaedic Advances" series, the main content of this book comes from the progress in this field over the past five years. Each chapter is relatively independent and has been organized into five parts, discussing the basic principles of diagnosis and treatment of bone and soft tissue tumors, benign tumors, malignant tumors, soft tissue tumors, and osteosarcoma metastasis. The chapters include a large number of references, not only citing the latest research advances in this field but also listing some important references from the past.
