Features: Physical experiments are the foundation of physics and have always played a crucial role in the establishment and development of the discipline. The purpose of university physics experiments is to deepen students' understanding of physical knowledge, cultivate correct scientific experimental habits, and enhance their hands-on skills, observational and analytical abilities, and innovative capabilities. Sichuan University is a comprehensive university formed by the merger of three key universities, encompassing a wide range of disciplines. This book was compiled after the Physics Experiment Center of Sichuan University moved to the new campus in Shuangliu, involving the consolidation, selection, and integration of physics experiments originally offered by the three constituent universities. It is based on the existing physics experiment topics and course offerings, making it suitable not only for students in science, engineering, and medical fields at our university but also for students in at other universities in China. In this book, "Measurement Uncertainty and Error Handling" and "Experiments 1-7" are mandatory basic experiments, while the remaining experiments are open-ended. Students from different majors can select open-ended experiments and their respective times based on their professional characteristics, course hour constraints, and personal interests and strengths to complete their required experimental credits. Physics experiments are a course that reflects collective wisdom and labor. Each experiment is the result of gradual accumulation and refinement over time. Therefore, this book is a crystallization of collective wisdom.
