Features: The toucan lives in the forests of Central and South America, feeding mainly on wild fruits. Although its beak is enormous, it is thin and soft, resembling a sponge. Its feeding method is quite unique: it first picks up a fruit with its beak and tosses it upwards, then catches and eats it.
Parrots live in tropical forests.
Pigeons have a strong sense of direction and excellent flying abilities, so they were often domesticated as homing pigeons in ancient times to deliver messages for humans. Pigeons are also raised in large numbers in parks or squares for people to watch.
Penguins are birds that evolved from flying to swimming. They use their wings to paddle through water and quickly catch small fish. Penguin mothers are very loving toward their children and often regurgitate food to feed them.
