Features: Surface decoration of engineered wood in China is an emerging industry. It involves a wide range of technical fields, integrating various technologies such as papermaking, pigments, synthetic resins, and decorative board manufacturing processes on a certain theoretical foundation. Thin wood is a high-end decorative material, and thin wood veneering requires exploring rare tree species and manufacturing decorative thin wood. China has established a series of standards and forest industry policies related to impregnated paper veneering, thin wood veneering, and thermosetting melamine decorative panels, laying a foundation for the development of surface decoration of engineered wood. This volume summarizes China's experience in the production technology of surface decoration of engineered wood while also incorporating advanced technologies and development trends from abroad. It is a systematic production technology book, mainly including: decorative paper printing, synthetic resins, high-pressure melamine decorative panels, impregnated paper veneered decorative panels, wear-resistant composite flooring, PVC and PVE film veneered decorative panels, as well as fire-resistant boards and multifunctional veneering decorative manufacturing methods and application technologies of other synthetic resin varieties. This volume is available for reference by engineering and technical personnel, management personnel, and those engaged in surface decoration methods and application technologies of engineered wood in decorative board production. It is a relatively systematic and comprehensive manual for the processing and production of surface decoration of engineered wood.
