Part II and Part III respectively discuss statistical methods and epidemiological principles and methods for population health research; Part IV focuses on health promotion and disease prevention, primarily covering the prevention and control of common infectious diseases, chronic diseases, occupational diseases, as well as the response to public health emergencies and the role of clinical physicians. The editorial committee of the 4th edition made corresponding adjustments during this revision.
