Features: The best way to improve cultural literacy is through reading, as many famous writers have grown up through books. I love literature, and especially enjoyed reading long novels in my childhood. At first, I borrowed books from the library at my father's workplace, such as Journey to the West, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Water Margin. By the time I was eleven, I had read all of them. Later, when the library's collection was no longer sufficient, I happened to come across a book rental service at the Xinhua Bookstore, and I exchanged my little pocket money for books to read. I went through the complete works of Mao Dun Collection, Ba Jin Collection, and Lu Xun Collection, among others. Although I read them superficially, I always found it endlessly fascinating. During this period, I mainly read various classic Chinese works. After being admitted to the Xi'an International Studies University, I had more exposure to foreign classics.
