Features: This standard is based on Chapters 2 and 7 of the original standard, "Unit Engineering Quality Assessment Standard for Installation of Turbine-Generator Units" (hereinafter referred to as the original standard), jointly issued by the former Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Water Resources (SDJ249.3-1988). It incorporates advancements in domestic and international bulb turbine-generator unit technology in recent years and complies with the technical requirements of GB/T 8564-2003, "Technical Specification for Installation of Turbine-Generator Units." After its release, it replaces Chapters 2 and 7 of SDJ249.3-1988, among others. This standard specifies the assessment methods for the installation quality grade of bulb turbine-generator units and their auxiliary equipment in basic water conservancy and hydropower projects. It applies to the quality grade assessment of bulb turbine-generator units with a single-machine capacity of 2 MW or higher and a runner diameter of 2.5 m or higher. Other types of turbine-generator units and bulb turbine-generator units with a single-machine capacity of less than 2 MW or a runner diameter of less than 2.5 m may refer to this standard for implementation.
