Features: This standard was formulated in accordance with the requirements of the "Notice of the General Office of the National Development and Reform Commission on Issuing the Supplementary Plan for Industry Standard Projects in 2003" (File No. [2003] 873 of the General Office of the National Development and Reform Commission). Due to its high desulfurization efficiency, limestone-gypsum wet desulfurization technology is currently being widely applied in thermal power plants. However, wet desulfurization generates a certain amount of wastewater during the production process, known as desulfurization wastewater. Desulfurization wastewater contains many components that are highly environmentally harmful and must be treated; otherwise, it will cause secondary pollution to the environment. The quality of desulfurization wastewater is quite special, and the current relevant domestic wastewater quality standards cannot be fully applied to desulfurization wastewater. Therefore, this standard has been formulated. This standard is based on the flue gas cleaning wastewater quality standards in Germany's wastewater management regulations (Appendix 47, 2004 Revision Edition) and incorporates relevant content from GB8978 "Comprehensive Discharge Standard for Sewage." This standard was proposed by the China Electric Power Enterprise Association. The China Power Industry Environmental Protection Standardization Technical Committee is responsible for its administration and interpretation. The drafting units of this standard are: Xi'an Thermal Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Tiandi Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd.
