Features: Mechanical industry standards are the technical basis for organizing product production, delivery, and acceptance, serving as a technical guarantee for improving product quality and a crucial condition for enterprises to achieve the best economic benefits. In their business operations, enterprises promoting and applying standardized technology, and conscientiously implementing standards, are vital for shortening product development cycles, controlling product manufacturing quality, and reducing production costs. This has a significant impact on enhancing enterprises' market competitiveness, developing economies of scale, and advancing specialized cooperation. To promote the implementation of mechanical industry standards and meet the needs of a broad readership for standard texts, our press has systematically compiled the latest mechanical industry standard texts by profession and category, organizing the publication of the "China Mechanical Industry Standards Collection" series. This series is composed of five parts: Comprehensive Technology, Basic Interchangeability, General Components, Common Processing Technologies, and General Products. Each part includes several volumes, and the "Internal Combustion Engine Volume" is one of the volumes in the General Products section. This volume was selected and compiled by our third editorial office, collecting 291 current national standards approved by the end of May 2006 and current industry standards approved by the end of 2005. It is published in three volumes: the first volume includes terminology and definitions, product names and model numbering methods, general technical conditions for complete machines, emissions, and performance test methods; the second and third volumes cover relevant content for internal combustion engine components.
