Features: The annual China Interior Design Competition, organized by the Interior Design Branch of the China Institute of Architecture, has successfully been held for 8 editions. The submitted works this year first draw attention to the presence of many new young designers, especially those from remote areas, participating in the competition, reflecting the rapid growth and improving standards of young designers in China. The interior design industry in China has developed rapidly over the past two decades, with numerous outstanding high-level design works created by many top talents. The overall improvement of the more than 200,000 designers nationwide is crucial. Only with a large number of high-level designers and well-supported design firms can society's needs be met, and the quality of living environments in China can be fully enhanced. We place our hope in the majority of young designers, who constitute the backbone of the design team. We hope that this young platform of the competition can serve as a stage to showcase and nurture outstanding young designers. We also warmly welcome young designers from all walks of life to utilize this platform to demonstrate their talents and creativity, to learn from and inspire each other, and to rapidly improve their design skills.
