Features: Yevgeny Yevtushenko is a genius pastoral poet from Russia, with a high reputation in many countries around the world. His poems sing the splendid beauty of nature in a melancholic tone. This poetry collection includes slightly revised translations of 100 previously published poems, supplemented by over ten additional poems, accompanied by photographs of the poet, his family, and friends, autographs of the poet, landscape paintings of his hometown, and artistic illustrations that complement the poetic essence. Yevtushenko, the son of a farmer, the singer of the countryside, and the prince of salons, sang the rural life and nature of Russia in a melancholic tone. He embodied a pursuit of noble character, exceptional poetic talent, and an incurable rogue's nature in one person. The poet's life was short, brilliant, turbulent, and melancholic. The great Russian writer Maxim Gorky praised Yevtushenko's poems as unrestrained, dazzling, deeply moving, and uniquely styled, highlighting his extraordinary talent and profound mastery. Yevtushenko's poetry should be felt with the heart. His attachment to nature, the countryside, the rural paradise of the farmers, and the ancient Russia is natural, sincere, and heartfelt. The book is also accompanied by over 50 illustrations, including photographs of the poet, his family, and friends, autographs of the poet, landscape paintings of his hometown, and artistic illustrations that complement the poetic essence.
