Features: Stainless steel is a high-alloy steel that can resist corrosion in air and chemical corrosive media, and is widely used in various fields of the national economy. Due to its ability to be 100% recycled and other unmatched characteristics, stainless steel is also known as "steel premium," "green product," and "recyclable material." In recent years, stainless steel production and consumption in China have made significant progress. In 2005, China's stainless steel output reached 3 million tons, ranking second in the world and accounting for one-fifth of the global total. There are numerous stainless steel grades, and the designation methods for these grades vary greatly across different national standards systems. Currently, there are more than 4,000 to 5,000 stainless steel grades worldwide, which has brought many inconveniences to the circulation and selection of stainless steel products between countries. To address this, the author has compiled and organized the relevant standards from 23 countries and regions that could be collected into this book for readers' use. Additionally, in a broader sense, stainless steel also includes heat-resistant steel, so this book also collects and organizes the various grades of deformed steel and cast steel for stainless steel and heat-resistant steel to serve the readers.
