"Return line does not need translation, return as is, all other Chinese should be translated into English: The Annotations and Corrections to the Treatises of Profound Inquiry"

Author: Wang Fu (Han Dynasty), annotated by Wang Jipai (Qing Dynasty)
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 1997-10-01
Features: The Treatises of Wang Fu is a work by Wang Fu, a progressive thinker of the Eastern Han Dynasty, which offers extensive and sharp criticism of the social and political conditions of the late Eastern Han period. In the Qing Dynasty, Wang Jipai provided detailed and meticulous annotations. This book focuses on selecting works closely related to the study of philosophy and intellectual history. Some books that do not belong to the Zi (Philosophical) category, such as Ban Gu's White Tiger Commentaries, are also included due to their close relevance to the study of philosophy and intellectual history. The entire work will be published in two volumes. The first volume includes Zi books similar to those in The Complete Collection of the Zi Schools, which are frequently read or consulted by general researchers. Each book is selected from the best available annotated editions to date. For a very small number of books without annotations, separate annotations will be provided. Some books include multiple annotated editions, each with its own strengths. To maintain a consistent format, except for a few exceptions, only annotated editions written in classical or simplified classical Chinese are generally included. The second volume collects other Zi books outside the scope of the first volume. Most of these books do not have existing annotated editions. For those that require annotations, they will be provided. The rest will be selected from the best available editions for proofreading. Both volumes of this book are planned to be published first as paperback editions, with each volume priced separately and released.
