Features: In the 21st century, we are living in a great era of increasing knowledge. People's thoughts, concepts, and lifestyles are undergoing profound changes. After experiencing rapid economic growth, Chinese society has become more aware that a harmonious society is not just a prosperous one, but should also be a civilized society with a healthy cultural form, abundant cultural products, and shared cultural resources. The competitiveness and creativity of culture are subtly enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of cities. Among them, the Shanghai Library Lecture has been recognized for its innovative ideas and outstanding achievements by winning the first National Ministry of Culture Innovation Award in 2005, which is an affirmation of the service work of library lectures across the country. "The sharp edge of the sword is tempered by grinding, and the fragrance of plum blossoms comes from suffering in the cold." This collection, "Shanghai Library Lecture," which gathers the strengths of various sources and extracts the essence of thoughts, has finally been published. It aims to enable more "listeners" to learn scientific knowledge and promote the spirit of science through the medium of books, thereby showcasing the characteristics of cultural diversity and cultural integration in the era.
