Features: After the Qing Dynasty, there were no historical records about the Qing era. Those who talked about stories often enjoyed recounting Qing Dynasty facts. Moreover, due to the strict censorship in the Qing Dynasty, during the reign of Emperor Qianlong, the Four Treasuries Library was used as a pretext to threaten, burn, and alter books, leading to the calamity of burning books and burying scholars. After the records of prohibitions, their reactionary forces gave rise to countless unfounded and slanderous discussions. Regarding the Qing Dynasty, we originally had no strong love or hatred, but the responsibility of those who spread rumors and truths is to correct and clarify, not to follow the crowd and make corrections when discussing Qing Dynasty history. Occasionally, I mention one thing, without hesitation to list old opinions and explain its origins and details. I am not afraid of being overly broad and greedy for more, hoping to achieve a moderate conclusion and obtain the truth. Accumulating several items, I published them successively according to the agreements with various newspapers. After publishing, I often made additional corrections based on my observations.
