Features: This issue of the "Bo Gu" series includes over twenty articles. In terms of knowledge, in the field of ceramics, Zhu Yuping's "The Craft and Painting Methods of Qianjiang Color" provides essential knowledge for collecting and appreciating Qianjiang porcelain; in jade artifacts, there are two articles: Hu Cixiang's "Buddhas in the Realm of Religion and Secularism—Jade Buddha" and Zhang Minghua's "Auspicious Jade and Oral Superstitions," both of which are valuable references. Mr. Xu Jianrong's article "The Authentication of Calligraphy and Painting in the Art Market" closely connects with the market, proposing his own views and methods to address new situations and issues in the authentication of calligraphy and painting, which holds significant practical guidance. This article is divided into four sections, with two sections published in the previous issue, and the continuation is completed in this issue. Professor Lai Xinxia has carefully read and analyzed a batch of recently discovered letters related to the history of the Beiyang Warlord Era, concluding: "The discovery and timely reporting of new historical materials should be a blessing for researchers. However, it is hoped that a basic evaluation can be conducted before publication, avoiding exaggeration to seek practicality." This reflects the elder scholar's emphasis on and serious attitude toward historical research, as well as his requirements and guidance for our editorial work. In terms of appreciation, the article by the writer Shan Gu on the collection of Fu Bozhi's paintings at the Palace Museum provides important historical facts and anecdotes, making it highly readable. This issue also includes two articles introducing the stories of collecting. One is written by Cai Geng, titled "Tang Yun and Collecting," which introduces the demeanor of the older generation of collectors, their collecting philosophies and attitudes, serving as a model for new collectors and enthusiasts. The other is a self-narrative by the young and successful collector Mr. Zhang Wei on his experiences in collecting film and literature materials, offering many valuable lessons. The last article to recommend is Lin Hao's "Reminiscence of My Teacher and Friend Wang Yiliu." Mr. Lin Hao is a ninety-year-old bookstore worker who once engaged in the comic industry seventy years ago. This article is a recollection and commemoration of Wang Dunqing, one of China's first-generation comic artists, and contains many rare historical materials related to the art world.
