Features: The Economist's Tea House has become a best-selling popular economics book. It consistently ranks at the top of the sales charts in major bookstores such as Sanlian Tofu & Fuping Book Center and Feng Ru Song, leaving readers amazed. What is the connection between economics and tea? "Tea is a wonderful kind of water." Legend has it that Shennong, the mythical figure in ancient China, accidentally drank water boiled with wild tea leaves and instantly felt refreshed. From then on, the Chinese people understood the medicinal, edible, and drinking value of tea. Tea is so remarkably effective and wonderful that no one can imagine the Chinese people living without it! Economists are called the "pearls on the crown of social sciences." So why not turn them into magical tea and spread them to the masses? In the "tea house-style" narrative, Mr. Zhang Wuchen has already won over a large number of loyal readers with his early efforts. Why can't more Chinese economists join this mission of "transforming pearls into magic," focusing on the topics that concern the Chinese people, and expressing economic wisdom in a pleasant and accessible way in beautiful and authentic Chinese? This would allow the clear rationality of economics to gain new tension and vitality in the "tea house" of China, where "the gods are in a carnival."
The great philosopher Socrates once said that paradise is merely a place where all the wise gather, where discussions and debates can take place. The Economist's Tea House is also such a gathering place where talents converge, where voices are heard, and where debates can occur. In this sense, the exquisite and profound "corridor" of The Tea House is a bridge leading to the paradise of thought.
