Features: The Wings of Summer is a combined volume containing several poetry collections. These smaller collections appeared over the past fifteen years, scattered across different times and places, serving as direct witnesses to my writing and life. Initially, each of these small collections had its own name, standing complete and self-contained, roughly representing my literary craftsmanship of a certain period, just as they are now. At first, none of them were printed for sale. They were more like potatoes, vegetables, and flowers that grew from the earth. You would pick them, collect them, and then distribute them. Through the post office, through the hands and bags of distant friends or (friends who happened to pass by), they reached other places. In short, they were small collections that were constantly being distributed. In fact, they were not much like printed works but rather more like handicrafts (printing, making, or even crafting). You would personally take the poems you considered good and turn them into a small book, a thin pamphlet. Sometimes it would be ten poems, sometimes twenty-five, sometimes ten collections, twenty-five collections, or even one hundred. Yet sometimes, you would only make one and suddenly give up, leaving it gathering dust. It can be said that almost all of us poets have had such experiences. Some of us have even developed a hobby and habit of collecting such poetry collections.
