Author: (Japanese) Takada Tokio, translated by Zhong Chong and others
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2005-12-01
Features: The book titled "Dunhuang · Ethnicity · Language" not only includes articles discussing the above themes but also adds several research papers related to the Five Clans Theory, Huichao's Biography, the Yupian Dictionary, typesetters, and more, totaling twenty articles. In summary, all the selected articles in this book are related to the three keywords: Dunhuang, ethnicity, and language. The publication dates range from the early 1980s to recent years, spanning many years. Some of the papers may have reduced academic value, but considering that such in-depth research is still scarce in related fields, these papers still hold certain value and are included in this publication. Most of the articles in this book were translated by Zhong Chong and Chen Jie, who were studying at the Kyoto University Graduate School. Among them, the works by Zhong Chong are particularly numerous. Additionally, two articles borrowed translated drafts that were previously published in domestic Chinese magazines. During this collection, some obvious errors in these translations were corrected, and additional terminology was added. Special thanks are also expressed to the above translators for their hard work.
