Interviews with Young Historians (Volume 1)

Author: Editorial Department of "Historical Teaching"
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2005-05-01
Features: "Historical Teaching" has always balanced research and teaching since its establishment in 1951. Before the Cultural Revolution, the journal was also a representative publication for the study of Chinese history. After the reform and opening-up, although the number of academic journals increased, "Historical Teaching" remained the main medium for connecting academic research with basic education, enjoying a wide readership in the secondary education sector and maintaining a certain influence in academia. When we implemented the "Interview Plan for Prominent Young and Middle-aged Scholars," scholars actively supported it. They showed great interest in basic education, and the specific and insightful discussions often left us impressed. The response from readers was also very strong. Many friends told us that they always read this section first in every issue. It includes many well-known scholars, and through this approach, they learn about the research of experts in adjacent fields.
