Features: The fu is a literary form that falls between poetry and prose. Although it was not highly valued for a period of time, it is, like poetry, prose, ci, and qu, an important literary style in ancient China. In the historical scroll of the development of ancient Chinese literature, the fu genre also had its brilliant page. Since this book is a selected edition with limited word count, while paying attention to the ideological content and artistic value, we have tried to select those concise and excellent works, with only a few large-scale fu pieces included. Moreover, to enable readers to understand the general picture and developmental context of Chinese fu, we have also made efforts to cover works from different eras and styles as much as possible. Of course, to avoid repetition with other selected editions, we have intentionally adjusted some of the entries. In the "Notes" section, we have strived to make them concise, accurate, and to the point; while in the "Comments" section, we have proposed our own insights based on the research findings of predecessors. In short, our goal is to provide readers with a relatively ideal and highly readable edition.
