Features: This book is a collection of essays on coin research by the renowned numismatist, Mr. Luo Bozhao. Luo Bozhao, named Wenjiong and styled Muyuan, was known as P.C. Low by foreign friends in the 1930s and 1940s. He was born in Chongqing, Sichuan in 1899 and graduated from Shanghai St. John's University in 1921. Later, he engaged in large-scale export trade, transporting tung oil from Sichuan to the United States. He made a fortune, becoming a wealthy merchant, which laid an economic foundation for his coin collecting and research. By the 1930s, he had already become a major collector. After Luo's passing, Xu Senyu spoke of several characteristics of Mr. Bozhao:
1. He was one of the top coin collectors in the country;
2. Unlike ordinary collectors, Mr. Luo did not collect coins merely for the sake of collecting but also engaged in high-level academic research on numismatics;
3. Due to his financial wealth, he generously supported the exchange and academic discussions within the coin world, published the journal "Quanbi," and promoted coin research activities in China;
4. He did not consider himself a wealthy person and treated others with equality.
