Features: This collection is divided into three parts:
1. A Brief Account of the Evolution of China's Territory: This is a general treatise compiled from notes taken by Mr. Tong when he taught at Guanghua University, based on the lectures of Zhang Zhilian and Fang Dexiu.
2. A Collection of Papers on Ancient Chinese Geography: This is a work where Mr. Tong reorganized his surviving papers on ancient geographical research after they had gone through various transformations. Published by the Shanghai Editorial Department of Zhonghua Book Company in 1962.
3. Remnants: This part includes works that were not included in the first two sections and were scattered in various books, newspapers, and journals. This book strives to collect as many of Mr. Tong Shuyi's works on historical geography as possible. The collected papers are arranged, primarily in chronological order. However, the Remnants section focuses on a small (theme) where Mr. Tong Shuyi, Mr. Yang Xiangkui, and Mr. Tang Lan offer different interpretations of the heavens. Citations in the papers have been verified.
