Features: The author studies the field of metaphysics, although he adopts the term "category" from Western philosophy, there is a significant difference between his research and Western category studies. Every philosophy has categories. However, Chinese philosophy, especially the theoretical-rich Song-Ming metaphysics, does not emphasize the independent meaning of each category or its analysis. Instead, it values the interconnections between categories, forming an organic system. This is the purpose of my research on metaphysical categories and the main issue this book aims to elucidate. As for what this system is and whether it can explain the fundamental characteristics of metaphysics or even the entire Chinese philosophy, I only present my personal views to stimulate academic discussion.
