Features: Having lived in Shanghai for over twenty years, Shanghai has always been an endless fascination for me. The theme of Shanghai in my eyes is the central focus of this collection of essays. Although I had been mulling over this theme for a long time and felt overwhelmed with emotions during the writing process, when I finally finished and read through it, I realized that the word "paradise" was insufficient to encompass all my thoughts, feelings, breath, and pulse. Because everything about Shanghai is real and concrete, it encompasses my private life, memories, collections, and emotions growing up in Shanghai.
