Features: The Anthropological and Archaeological Works of David Crockett Graham (Hanyi name: Ge Weihan) is a collection of works by the American scholar David Crockett Graham on anthropology (cultural anthropology) and archaeology. These works are all his old writings from before the 1950s, representing the research level of these two disciplines at that time, and their scope is mainly in Sichuan. To fully inherit and absorb the research achievements of predecessors, as early as 1973, the Sichuan Provincial Cultural Relics Management Committee (Sichuan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology) organized relevant scholars to translate and internally publish Ge Weihan's representative works on archaeology in Sichuan. Shortly after, the Sichuan Provincial Institute of Ethnic Studies also organized scholars to translate and internally publish some of Ge Weihan's representative works on ethnology in Sichuan. To allow more scholars to understand Ge Weihan's works, we have selected his representative works in these two aspects, organized and officially published them. At the end of the book, there is also a biography of Ge Weihan written by Susan R. Brown (USA) and a directory of the Journal of the West China Borderland Research Society translated and compiled by Zhou Shurong of the Sichuan University Museum, for the reference of readers.
