Features: "Foucault and Sexuality" is my interpretation of Foucault's book The History of Sexuality. Among all scholars, Foucault is my love. His words, writings, and actions always inspire my admiration and resonance. My interpretation encompasses both an analysis of The History of Sexuality and an interpretation of Foucault as a person. Although I am fully aware that I will never reach his level in my lifetime, living and writing like him is a secret dream in my heart. Foucault's famous quote, "One's life should be an artwork," has become a guiding principle for my life. The Problem of Sexuality is a crystallization of my reflections on the issue of sexuality. Perhaps the most well-known part is my critique and reflection on the current laws related to sexuality in China. This is because I have addressed this topic as a standalone subject in some lectures and incorporated some of its viewpoints and materials in my commentaries on current affairs. In this book, I mentioned that the current laws related to sexuality in China fall into two major categories: one involves acts with victims, and the other involves acts without victims. Even the former category of laws is not entirely free of problems, while the latter can be said to be riddled with issues. I hope to promote improvements in China's laws related to sexuality through my research. "Foucault and Sexuality" is my interpretation of Foucault's The History of Sexuality.
