Features: During the college entrance exam, I was fifteen. Although I wasn’t a model student, my grades were decent enough. The days of the exam were accompanied by torrential rain, with water flooding halfway up my bicycle wheel. I remember wearing a white long dress that day, and by the time I reached the exam hall, it was completely soaked. Fortunately, I was still half a lady back then and hadn’t learned how to curse yet. Otherwise, I might have blurted out something like “Damn it, what a disaster,” which would have certainly startled my dad.
To be honest, it’s been over ten years since that happened, yet I still remember it so clearly. I don’t think it left a particularly deep impression. Oh, wait—maybe it’s because Song Le Tian kept nagging about it near my ear that I still recall it vividly.
My novel’s title is a bit strange—anyone who sees it just feels confused. When Liu Hai Bo saw it, he just gave a wry smile and asked why. But when Song Le Tian saw it, he gritted his teeth and said, “Why is it so vulgar?” I told him, “Only someone with such dirty thoughts would interpret it that way.” He then demanded an explanation that wasn’t vulgar, and I told him to get lost.
