Features: Since the Tianbao era of the Tang Dynasty, regional military commands began to flourish, with their authority and responsibilities continuing to be inherited in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The designation of military commanders was later changed to that of general governors. Observation and administration were originally intended for the collection of information, but after the Zhide era, many river-opening routes were managed by military commanders who also held the position of observation commissioners. In remote and isolated areas, observation commissioners were responsible for overseeing the militia. The administrative divisions of Yong and Rong were also known as military exploits commands.
