Features: In the 10th to 13th centuries, the nomadic tribes of the grasslands, the Khitan and the Jurchen, successively rose in northern China. They fought and defeated Later Jin and Northern Song in turn, establishing the Liao and Jin feudal regimes. The Liao lasted from the enthronement of its founding emperor, Yelü Abaoji, in 907 to its collapse to the Jin in 1125, spanning 218 years. The Jin lasted from its founding year, 1115, when Wanyan Aguda declared independence, to the surrender of its last emperor, Wanyan Chenglin, to the Mongols in 1234, spanning 119 years. Due to the different ways in which these two regimes adopted Han culture, their literary development different appearances. However, they also shared similarities: both primarily or basically used Chinese poetry as their main literary form, and both had non-Han writers become the representatives of the highest achievements in poetry of their respective dynasties. This book compiles the poetry of the Liao and Jin dynasties as a reference for researchers. It has included scattered works without discrimination, even picking up fragments, striving for completeness. The book includes 716 authors, 829 titles of poems, 11,662 poems, and 398 fragments.
