Features: Specifically, the "Modern Chinese Language Education" proposed and elaborated in this book consists of three parts:
First, the fundamental theory of modern Chinese language education. This section does not present the content according to the inherent structure of Chinese language pedagogy but addresses the pressing issues of the time as concisely as possible in two aspects: on the one hand, it rigorously reviews and clarifies some concepts and suggestions from previous Chinese language teaching; on the other hand, it appropriately presents the necessity of modernizing Chinese language education and the main theoretical framework of modern Chinese language education, enabling teachers to gain clear and concise understanding.
Second, the theory of the fundamental elements of modern Chinese language education. This section provides an in-depth elaboration on several constitutive elements of modern Chinese language education, such as the case function of Chinese language teaching materials, the guidance and design of Chinese language learning, the shaping of teachers' styles, characteristics, and brands, as well as teachers' Chinese language educational behaviors and students' Chinese language learning behaviors. These elements are precisely the questions that teachers' educational guidance activities must constantly address.
Third, the theory of the modular structure of modern Chinese language education. This section specifically interprets the three constitutive modules of modern Chinese language education—classified reading learning, socialized writing learning, and research-oriented development learning—each using three chapters. Each module includes explanations of issues such as effectiveness, psychological processes, and instructional strategies, enabling teachers to obtain more strategic and operational guidance.
