Features: I deliberately created characters who are not perfect and have a fundamental flaw. At that time, one-armed swordsman and one-legged travelers were popular, but I felt these weren't very healthy. Meanwhile, the one-eyed [man] was a hero, like David Ben-Gurion (former Defense Minister of Israel). So I created a villain in my works—the Bandit Lord One-Eyed Dragon. He is also one of my representative works in four-panel comics. When drawing the Bandit Lord One-Eyed Dragon, it was the height of my enthusiasm for four-panel comics. Most of the previous comic heroes were virtuous, so when creating this new column, I considered using an anti-hero as the protagonist, like having Sherlock Holmes and then introducing Arsène Lupin. Of course, this anti-hero's design had to be distinctive. Virtuous characters are mostly perfect, but the characters I create are deliberately imperfect and have a fundamental flaw.
