Features: The author is naturally gifted and deeply passionate. In his landscape paintings, he possesses exquisite thoughts and unique insights. During his graduate studies, he was highly appreciated by Professor Lu Yanshao. At that time, Professor Lu was comprehensively studying the traditions of ancient and modern art, traveling extensively in Southeast China, and was revered as a master by both the Jiangdong and Jiangyou regions. Zhu Hejun truly inherited the authentic lineage. The lineage of landscape painting, since the Tang Dynasty, was perfected by Dong and Fan, and fully transformed by the Four Masters of the Yuan Dynasty. Since then, each generation has had its own creators. To innovate within the rules and to embody profound truths beyond boldness—this is truly challenging! This book is a genuine work of landscape painting. With a solid foundation, the author traveled three times a year. The beautiful landscapes of Zhejiang, such as Tianmu and Jingshan in the west, and Tiantai and Yandang in the east, are like familiar scenes in his studio. He also visited Mount Emei, traversed the Gobi Desert, and descended into Western Tibet, seeking and recording scenic wonders, all to pour his spirit into painting. He is particularly fond of the extraordinary landscapes of Mount Huangshan. He often recited Mei Qing's verses: "Crystal light reflects a thousand lotuses, an isolated moon hangs east of Mount Tianfu." He painted dozens of landscapes of Mount Huangshan, not depicting the towering ancient pines, but focusing on the breathtaking and awe-inspiring clouds and mountains.
