Features: What will the cities of the future information age look like? How will the buildings that form the urban fabric manifest? This book explores various perspectives such as electronic venues, electronic citizens, and the digital industry, providing a systematic yet accessible overview of the essential space, location, architecture, and urban lifestyles of the future "soft city" connected by the information superhighway. It aims to illustrate that as software increasingly controls human modes of existence and the use of bits becomes more widespread, the future city will be a digitalized space.
