We cheer here, they rejoice here. For the people of Rome, today is an extraordinary day. It is Lupercalia today. The Romans regard Lupercus as the guardian of shepherds, and Lupercalia commemorates this pastoral god. Every year on Lupercalia, the Romans hold grand celebrations. This year's Lupercalia is even more different from previous years. Today, it is not only Lupercalia but also the day when the hero Caesar returns from his campaign in Egypt.
