Features: Speaking of the history of "Panhua Buttons" is not long; it evolved from the ancient "knot." The ancient practice of "tying knots to record events" was even earlier than the history of Chinese characters. After the invention of writing, "knots" basically lost their function of recording and served people's clothing, ornaments, and daily life needs. Early human clothing relied on belts and ropes to make clothes fit, warm, and not fall off, and knots were used for fastening and tying. The styles of "knots" on ancient Chinese clothing were very rich, including functional knots for securing clothes and decorative knots for beautification. In people's hearts, "knots" carried profound meanings, with each knot having a pleasant name, representing various auspicious and beautiful meanings, embodying wishes for love, happiness, and peace. The peak of the development of "knots" was during the Qing Dynasty, where in terms of names, styles, colors, techniques, and uses, they could be considered a type of art for appreciation with a high artistic taste. With the clothing of the early Qing Dynasty mainly consisting of robes, jackets, shirts, and pants, the wide robes and sleeves were changed to narrow sleeves, and the collars were fastened with buttons instead of silk ribbons, which were commonly used by the Han Chinese during the Ming Dynasty. At this time, the Chinese Panhua Button rose with the development of clothing. After the Xinhai Revolution, Han Chinese women also wore qipaos, paired with Panhua Buttons. In the late 1920s, influenced by Western-style clothing, qipaos and Chinese-style shirts underwent significant changes, and Panhua Buttons also saw great development. The 1930s marked their peak period, while after the 1940s, the development of Chinese clothing and Panhua Buttons slowed down. In the 1980s, with the reform and opening-up, China ushered in a spring of clothing and accessories for the Chinese nation.
