This catalog combines the Zhonghua Book Company Book Catalog ( Edition) (from the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949 to October 1981) and the Zhonghua Book Company Book Catalog ( Section) (1979–1986), as well as the annual book catalogs published since 1987. In this way, the complete book catalog of Zhonghua Book Company from the founding of the People's Republic of China to 1991 is compiled in one volume. The book catalog for 1992–2001 will be published in another volume. This catalog is also linked to the Zhonghua Book Company General Book Catalog (1912–1949) published in 1987, forming the complete book catalog of Zhonghua Book Company over the past 90 years. It should be noted that the book catalog of Hong Kong Zhonghua Book Company originally included in the Edition, Volume 1, was not included this time.
