Features: In Chinese culture, the Diamond Sutra is one of the most influential Buddhist scriptures. For over a thousand years, countless people have studied the Diamond Sutra, chanted it, and experienced responses or even enlightenment through it. The Diamond Sutra is a very unique scripture in the Buddhist canon. Its greatness lies in transcending all religious boundaries while also encompassing all of them. When studying the Diamond Sutra, we should not confine it to the scope of Buddhism. The Buddha said in the Diamond Sutra, "All wise and holy ones have attained liberation through the Dharma of non-formation." This means that the Buddha believed that all sages and saints throughout history, as well as the founders of all religious traditions, have attained enlightenment. The differences lie in their individual levels of understanding, as well as the varying times and places in which they spread their teachings. The Diamond Sutra is one of the representative works of early Mahayana Buddhism and a key text in the Prajnaparamita category of Buddhist scriptures. Its full title is the "Diamond Sutra of Prajnaparamita," a single volume translated by the renowned monk (Jiumoluoshi) during the Hongshi era of the Yao Dynasty. After its publication, it quickly spread widely in society, with over one hundred types of annotations, including summaries, commentaries, recitations, reenactments, notes, selections, collections, explanations, classifications, clarifications, resolutions of doubts, and plain explanations. This book is a lecture record by the famous Taiwanese scholar Nan Huaijin on the Diamond Sutra. Based on the division by the Prince Zhaoming of the Liang Dynasty, the author divides the Diamond Sutra into thirty-two chapters (equivalent to sections) and explains each one in detail. Each chapter concludes with a verse to summarize the author's insights.
