Features: Scholars have debated the downfall of the Western Jin Dynasty. Briefly, there are two main theories: one is that it was caused by the excessive enfeoffment of the imperial clan, and the other is that it was due to the excessive military power held by regional commanders. This book attempts to explore the true reasons for the collapse of the Western Jin Dynasty by narrating the historical events of the "Eight Princes' Rebellion." The author believes that while the Eight Princes are indeed responsible for the chaos and downfall of the Western Jin, its root cause can be traced back to Emperor Wu of Jin.
