Features: Since 1997, we have carried out substantial reforms in the curriculum system for master's degree students: (1) Appropriately increasing the proportion of course teaching in the entire process of master's degree training. (2) Considering the curriculum settings of the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral training stages as a unified system, with a focus on differentiation. Courses are designed and teaching content is determined based on the training objectives of master's degree students. (3) Adhering to the principle of "broad scope, solid foundation," expanding the knowledge fields of master's degree students, and setting core courses—discipline foundation courses—that are open to all majors within each first-level discipline. (4) Unifying curriculum standards and establishing a standardized curriculum system composed of four categories: public courses, discipline foundation courses, professional courses, and elective courses. With this foundation of a more standardized curriculum system in place, we then began organizing the compilation of a series of master's degree textbooks. The focus of the compiled textbooks is: public course textbooks open to all disciplines across the entire university, as well as discipline foundation course textbooks open to all majors within each first-level discipline. Now, presented before the readers are the series of master's degree textbooks we have organized and compiled.
