Features: In the 21st century, China's software industry has seized a rare opportunity for development. The national economy has experienced sustained high-speed growth, the process of social informatization has accelerated significantly, people's awareness of genuine software has gradually strengthened, and their understanding of software value has greatly improved. Especially, various preferential policies related to the software industry have been frequently introduced by governments at all levels. All of these have created an unprecedentedly favorable environment for China's software industry, making the software industry a hot topic. The "Dr. Dobb's Software Development" magazine, a comprehensive collection of world-class software technology publications, was born in response to this trend. As the Chinese edition of a world-renowned publication, we have been able to stand on the shoulders of giants from the very beginning. We will uphold the inclusive and all-encompassing spirit of the original publication, covering various platforms, languages, technologies, software engineering, and R&D management practices. We will inherit the academic temperament of the original publication and strive to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
