Features: During the writing process, since the relevant materials of the "Minsk" aircraft carrier had been processed before being sold to China, many valuable design and construction background and interesting anecdotes were sealed in the "Soviet Military Archives" of the Cold War era. Moreover, due to my limited knowledge and understanding of aircraft carriers, there are still many shortcomings when I try to show readers a real "Minsk" aircraft carrier and related popular science knowledge. Especially, the former Minister of Naval Equipment Technology, Zheng Ming, known as the "scholarly general"—a retired but still active lieutenant general who continues to dedicate his remaining years to naval equipment and shipbuilding technology—has enthusiastically and meticulously written the preface for this book in his busy schedule, and elaborated on his views on the development of aircraft carriers from the perspective of national defense strategy.
